Further to the decision of the Financial Supervision Commission of the Republic of Bulgaria dated 9 June 2026 to withdraw the insurance licence of DallBogg: Life and Health Insurance Company JSC, the National Bureau of Bulgarian Motor Insurers (NBBMI) would like to inform as follows:

NBBMI is closely monitoring the developments and is maintaining the necessary coordination with the competent national and international institutions, including the Council of Bureaux within the Green Card System, the Financial Supervision Commission and the Bulgarian Guarantee Fund.

In accordance with the applicable legislation, the withdrawal of the insurer's licence does not affect the validity of insurance contracts already concluded until the occurrence of the legal grounds for their termination as provided by law. The insurer's obligations arising from compulsory Motor Third Party Liability (MTPL) insurance remain guaranteed in accordance with the applicable legal framework.

NBBMI continues to perform its functions in accordance with the Internal Regulations of the Green Card System, the Statutes of NBBMI and the applicable European and national legislation.

In view of the significant public interest, NBBMI maintains ongoing communication with the Council of Bureaux and the National Bureaux of the Green Card System member countries in order to ensure continuity in the handling of international claims and the fulfilment of its obligations under the relevant international agreements.

Should any further decisions or developments arise that are relevant to the activities of NBBMI and the Green Card System, information will be published in a timely manner on the official website of NBBMI.
