1 October – Insurance Professionals’ Day

On 1 October, we mark Insurance Professionals’ Day – an occasion to recognise the professionals whose knowledge, experience and commitment contribute to the development and resilience of the Bulgarian insurance sector.

Insurance is much more than financial protection. It is a commitment to people and businesses, a source of support in difficult and unforeseen circumstances, and an important pillar of economic and social stability.

Today, the insurance sector operates in a dynamic environment shaped by technological transformation, new and evolving risks, and growing customer expectations. This requires professionalism, adaptability and increasingly close cooperation between insurers, institutions and partner organisations.

In recent years, NBBMI and its members have faced a number of significant challenges, once again demonstrating the importance of mutual trust, professionalism and our ability to act together. The experience gained gives us confidence that, through dialogue, partnership and joint efforts, we will continue to find effective solutions to the new challenges facing the sector.
